The Arild Quartet has for nearly two decades established itself as one of Denmark's most prominent chamber music ensembles. With a clear vision and an uncompromising sense of sound and interplay, the quartet has built a repertoire spanning from classical cornerstones to striking contemporary works. The Arild Quartet's interpretations are marked by a rare maturity and intensity, and their stage presence has earned recognition from both audiences and critics.
In the 26/27 season, the Arild Quartet can be experienced at a series of poetry concerts with 'The Living String Quartet' – a collaboration with actress Karen-Lise Mynster, and at string octet programs in collaboration with the NOVO Quartet.
The Arild Quartet is a frequent guest at Danish and international chamber music festivals, and has toured countries including Brazil, Scotland, Germany, Finland, the Czech Republic, Greece, and Sweden. The Arild Quartet has recorded digital releases of the Danish Golden Age composers Horneman and Hamerik for DaCapo Records.
